Your thought may be: “Surely this comprehensive holistic, attentive and personalized care is beyond my price range, right?” Good news! The cost of your care at The Green Medical Practice is affordable. It might seem daunting and disappointing to first learn that the practice has chosen to not contract with any insurance company or government health insurance. Fear not! Your insurance is still valuable and in most circumstances you can still get reimbursed. 

Under most plans you will be able to make a claim, and receive out of network coverage for the fees you pay for our care. We can help guide you in how to do this.

Furthermore, most individuals, employed or not, are eligible to a Health Savings Account (HSA) which entitles you to have a debit card that can be used to pay our fees (and any other medical or wellness costs throughout the year). All of the money spent on that card (including our charges) will then be deducted from your income taxes at the end of the year. Yay for no taxes!

In addition, your insurance is most valuable if you are referred for medical testing or evaluations by medical specialists. Your insurance will pay full benefits if you are referred for medical care outside of The Green Medical Practice. 

However the biggest advantage our practice model gives you is the length of your appointments. Doctors that are under contract with Insurance companies have less control over the amount of time they spend with you. Appointments tend to be short and rushed. Without insurance contracts WE decide how much time to spend with you. Together we can take the time to explore the best option for your treatment.

Another important point is that the money that comes to the practice comes directly from you and therefore our concern, focus and enthusiasm is truly directed to your well being. As practitioners we are free to explore with you the best possible healthcare even when it is not the conventional choice. Your care is individualized and the whole world of integrative medicine is open to us  

And finally, our fees are remarkably reduced by not being under contract with any outside entity. We then can pass that savings on to you. We receive payment at the time of service and therefore there is no need to hire a billing service to collect payments from you later. Even more important is we do not have to hire coding and specialized insurance billing services to produce and collect claims from an insurance company. These expenditures are very costly for medical practices that are under multiple contracts. 

All of this leads to competitive fees and efficient use of resources.
